Hall’s Harbour Volunteer Fire Department

The Hall’s Harbour Volunteer Fire Department operates under the aegis of the Hall’s Harbour District Firefighters Association. The directors meet the second Wednesday of each month except June, July, and August. The firefighters meet every Monday evening with two evenings a month designated for training. Currently, there are twenty-five firefighters and more are needed. If you are interested in becoming a firefighter call the Fire Chief – David Watson at 679-4088.

The Department has provided their volunteer service to our Community since 1991. It takes many volunteers to ensure the success of this vital service to the community. In the fall of each year, an annual Appreciation Banquet is held to honor those volunteers.

In closing, a “thank you” is extended to all who support the Department as fire fighters, members of committees, especially the Ways and Means who have raised thousands of dollars.
